Through using translucent oil paint this work intends to show different visions of life.  The translucent colour has a higher number of surfaces on the crystal of the pigment, allowing for more light in the pigment, and a greater sense of depth, lack of solidity.  Translucent colour for me portrays how sense and intuition are more malleable concepts, as light is a malleable wave,  than opaque solid concepts. If we can use our more malleable, open mindsets than we can find greater peace in our communities and world.
